A Chigwell man has been arresting after busting his way into the Hobart Police Station on Liverpool Street overnight.
The 20-year-old forcibly entered the station by smashing the entrance door around 12:30pm on Friday night.

Police say the man was quickly arrested by waiting officers and taken across the road to the Royal Hobart Hospital for treatment due to injuries sustained in the incident.
The man will appear in an after-hours court tonight, charged with multiple offences including destroying property, breaching bail, threatening/intimidating a police officer, using abusive language towards a police officer and trespassing.
