A hit new show filmed in Tasmania has taken the nostalgic Chickenfeed brand to the global stage – in a very interesting way…
In the latest episode of Deadloch, a man was crucified on the rocks of ‘Deadloch Beach’ (Kingston in reality) while being covered by a Chickenfeed t-shirt.
The comedy revolves around Senior Sergeant Dulcie Collins and Detective Eddie Redcliffe, as they investigate a string of murders and their strange circumstances.
Deadloch was launched worldwide on June 2, streaming to more than 240 countries on Amazon Prime.

Tasmanian actress Naarah Barnes, who plays Sharelle on Deadloch, posted a TikTok video of her and fellow actor Matt Burton (who plays Jimmy, the man who was crucified) singing along to the iconic Chickenfeed jingle while on set.
Chickenfeed was a cult-favourite Tasmanian discount store chain which went defunct in 2013.
