A man has died in hospital one week after a serious crash on Middle Tea Tree road north of Hobart.
The 51-year-old was left with serious injuries after his car collided head-on with a log truck around 12pm on June 22.
Police say initial inquiries suggest his Mini F56 hatch, which was travelling south, crossed to the incorrect side of the road and collided head on with the truck travelling in the opposite direction.
The man was airlifted to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a critical condition where he passed away yesterday.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage of the mini in the area at the time is asked to contact Police.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
