A man is fighting for his life in hospital after he was found with a gunshot wound to the abdomen on the Tasman Peninsula overnight.
Police were called to a property in Dunalley around 3:30am on Friday after the man was found injured by a neighbour.

The man was rushed to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a critical condition, where he remains under care.
A police spokesperson said officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
“Anyone with information should contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously,” the spokesperson said.
