Police are investigating after a man was rescued from a burning house in Kingston overnight.
The blaze, which has since been determined as being deliberately lit, caused around $60,000 worth of damage to the Redwood Road unit.

A 43-year-old man, believed to be the occupant of the house, was taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a serious condition following the incident.
Police say officers are following a “specific line of enquiry” into the fire, but are yet to lay any charges.
