A man has sustained serious injuries to the head after an incident in Tasmania’s north this afternoon.
According to Police, the injured man has been taken to hospital, while another has been taken into custody following the alleged attack at North Terrace in Burnie.

“The two men are known to each other,” Police said.
“No weapons are believed to have been used in the incident.”
