A 23-year-old man from Geeveston has been charged with a staggering 83 offences, including burglary and stealing, following a series of recent break-ins in the Kingston, Blackmans Bay and Margate areas.
Kingston Criminal Investigation Branch had been leading the investigation into the spate of incidents, which involved the unlawful entry of multiple vehicles.
Thanks to the help of members of the public, who provided assistance and CCTV footage, the man was identified and detained.
He is due to appear at Hobart Magistrates Court later today.
