Last month, Khaylan’s family and friends gathered for a memorial on what would have been his first birthday.

“Today, we attended the magistrates court once again. Which ended with a plea of “Not Guilty”,” Khaylan’s mother wrote on the Justice For Khaylan Facebook page.

“Now we will go down the long and hard road of a trial.”
