A delivery driver has been left shaken after two young males, one allegedly armed with a knife, stole his vehicle in Launceston overnight.
The incident unfolded on Abbott Street in East Launceston at around 11pm on Friday.
Police said the pair approached the male driver while he was working for a food delivery service.
The offenders, both described as being dressed in dark clothing and wearing face masks, then stole the delivery driver’s black Honda Jazz.
One of the young males was reportedly wearing a black hooded jumper and a black face mask with a design across the front.
The stolen vehicle has since been located.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have information that could help their investigation in locating the pair to come forward.
