A backyard bonfire gone wrong sent emergency services scrambling to Carlton tonight after residents reported hearing a loud explosion across the area.
Police and paramedics were called to the Dodges Ferry area following multiple calls about the bang, which turned out to be caused by someone using “excessive fuel” on their fire.
