Smoke has been seen billowing from a building in Hobart’s CBD this afternoon, prompting an emergency response from firefighters.
The fire at Wellington Court was reported just after 2:30pm on Monday.

Cordons have been set up around the area as crews work to bring the blaze under control.
Footage from the scene shows thick smoke pouring from the building.
A Tasmania Fire Service spokesperson said two crews are in attendance.
They said the blaze appears to involve “an exhaust fan connected to a food outlet”.
