The magnitude 3.8 earthquake that rocked Melbourne at 11:41 PM on Sunday night was felt as far as Hobart, according to Geoscience Australia.
The quake had a depth of 3km, and no injuries or damage have yet been recorded.
The Bureau of Meteorology have confirmed there is no tsunami threat.
