A British-Australian actress who has appeared on cinema and TV screens around the world for more than 60 years is set to grace Hobart next month.
Miriam Margolyes will bring her popular live show ‘OH MIRIAM! LIVE’ to the Odeon Theatre on March 14.
The tour follows the success of her best-selling and highly acclaimed book, Oh Miriam! Stories from an Extraordinary Life, and promises to feature ‘juicier and jaw-dropping stories’ from her life and career.
“My new book and show is called ‘Oh Miriam!’, something that has been said to me a lot over the years – often in tones of strong disapproval,” Margolyes said.
“It contains lots more revelations and stories and discoveries and I can’t wait to share it with you all.”
Margolyes, who last visited Tasmania in 2022 while filming her documentary ‘Almost Australian’, has described Hobart as “Australia’s most beautiful city”.
The tour will kick off in Auckland before making its way to Hobart and then onward to Perth.
