A 39-year-old man has been found safe after becoming separated from his group during a motorcycle ride in bushland near North Lilydale.
The rider failed to return home on Sunday evening, prompting his family to contact police just before 5pm.
He had been riding with others in remote bushland when he became separated from the group.
Police launched a coordinated search involving State Emergency Service volunteers and Tasmanian Mounted Search and Rescue teams.

The operation focused on bushland between North Lilydale and Lebrina as weather conditions deteriorated.
“Due to deteriorating weather conditions, and concerns for the man’s welfare, a coordinated search was conducted,” police said.

SES volunteers using all-terrain vehicles located the missing rider about 10pm on a rough bush track.
He was found approximately 2.5 kilometres north of where he was last seen by his riding companions.
The man was safely escorted from the bushland by police and assessed by Ambulance Tasmania paramedics.
He suffered no serious injuries during his ordeal and was returned home to his relieved family.

Police thanked all search teams for their quick response and assistance in locating the missing motorcyclist.
