More wild weather is expected to hit Tasmania tomorrow as the BOM forecast severe and damaging wind gusts of up to 100km/h.
A strong cold front moving southeastwards across the state and a deepening low pressure system over the eastern Great Australian Bight is expected to fuel the storm.
The BOM say northwesterly winds with damaging gusts of around 100km/h are possible from late morning Tuesday through the afternoon over western, central and northeastern areas.
Winds are then forecast to spread into the southeast of the state, including Hobart on Tuesday evening, and then ease early Wednesday morning.
Smithton, Oatlands, Swansea, Bicheno, Orford, Strahan, Queenstown, New Norfolk, Bothwell, Hobart, Geeveston and Dover may be affected.
