Shocked fast food customers have watched on as a motorcyclist performed dangerous stunts inside a northern Tasmanian McDonald’s last night, as part of a spree of reckless driving incidents.
Around 10pm Friday, police received reports of a motorcyclist driving dangerously in the car park of Dan Murphy’s on Bathurst Street in Launceston.
Shortly afterwards, what appears to be the same rider drove directly into the McDonald’s restaurant on Goderick Street in Invermay, where they performed stunts before leaving.
A store employee told Pulse the motorcyclist’s behaviour was dangerous and disruptive.

They said he came into the store and did a “donut”, leaving skid marks on the floor of the restaurant.
They say he then rode around the car park and nearly crashed into a parked car.

The employee said the tyre marks were fortunately able to be washed off the restaurant floor.
No one was injured during either incident.
Police described the motorbike as green and black, with the rider wearing a blue helmet at the time of the incidents.
Authorities are urging anyone with dashcam footage or other video evidence of the motorcycle to come forward as they continue their investigation into the dangerous behaviour.
