A motorcycle rider in their seventies has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition following a crash with a 4×4 near Launceston today.
Emergency services were called to the collision on Brickendon Street and Woolmers Lane at Longford around 12:25pm on Thursday.

Police said the motorcycle rider was taken to Launceston General Hospital, while the driver of the Toyota Hilux was uninjured.
Authorities are investigating the crash.
