Motorcycle rider clocked at 182km/h while nearly twice the alcohol limit on Midland Hwy

A motorcycle rider has been charged after allegedly clocking 182km/h while nearly twice the legal blood alcohol limit on the Midland Highway at Powranna overnight.

The 31-year-old Epping Forest man was detected travelling 72km/h above the 110km/h speed limit when he was pulled over by Longford Police.

He was given a roadside breath test and returned a reading of 0.093, nearly double the legal limit.

His motorcycle has been seized and he has been disqualified from driving for six months.
