Police are hunting for a motorcyclist after two shots were allegedly fired at a George Town house on Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred around 6am on William Street, with investigators believing the shots came from a small gauge shotgun.
No one was injured in the incident.
Police said the home’s occupants were away from the front of the building when the weapon was discharged.
Investigators believe a person seen riding a motorcycle trail bike near the property at the time can assist with their enquiries.
“This is an isolated incident with no wider risk to the public,” police said.
Authorities are now calling for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
“Police are determined to stop the unlawful use of firearms and remove illegal firearms from the community,” they said.
“If you have information, report it today.”
