Emergency services are responding to a house fire in Sandy Bay this morning.
Firefighters from Hobart were called to the blaze in Grosvenor Street around 10:30am on Wednesday.
The Tasmania Fire Service say crews found the rear of the house “well alight” on arrival.
“All residents are reported as out of the house,” a TFS spokesperson said.

The blaze is believed to have been accidental and caused by a wood heater, with the damage bill estimated to be around $500,000.
