Smoke was reportedly seen coming from a fire burning beneath a home in Geilston Bay when firefighters arrived at the scene around 12:40pm on Boxing Day.
A concerned neighbour dialled triple-zero to alert the Tasmania Fire Service to the incident after spotting smoke billowing from the Aldina Street house on Tuesday.

Crews from Clarence and Hobart have confirmed that the fire is burning beneath the home and are currently working to extinguish the blaze.
