Tasmania’s NBL JackJumpers franchise has revealed Christine Finnegan as their new CEO.
The appointment comes as team owner Larry Kestelman aims to ensure stability at the club ahead of a potential sale.
Finnegan is the second CEO in the club’s short history, following Simon Brookhouse who stood down in March 2023.
Finnegan has had a 25-year career in the Australian sports industry, holding senior positions at various organisations including Tennis Australia, Melbourne Rebels and the AFLPA.
She joined the JackJumpers as Chief Commercial Officer in 2020 and took on the interim Co-CEO role in March 2023.
“I’m delighted to take on this role and continue the strong trajectory of this club, which has an incredibly promising and prosperous future both on and off the court,” Finnegan said.
“I look forward to continuing to lead with strong values and with people at the forefront of our decisions and strategy.”
