Tasmania will make history on Saturday when the Devils host their first-ever home VFL final at North Hobart Oval, taking on Essendon in a semi-final from 11:05am.
Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, with 1866 Club members getting first access from 9am, followed by Devils Believer members from midday.
General public tickets go on sale from midday on Wednesday.
Adult tickets are $25, an increase of around $10 from previous home and away games.
Tasmania Devils chair Grant O’Brien said raising the prices helped cover the costs of staging a game at the historic ground.
“We’re not going to make any money out of a $25 ticket,” O’Brien said.
“We’ve been losing money every time we hold a game at these grounds, so it’s to help … ensure that we remain a sustainable footy club.”
“That’s not a huge ask and for us, we just want to be transparent that it’s helping us ensure that we attempt to cover the costs of staging a game at North Hobart.”
The club has said that 2026 membership cards and barcodes will not be valid for entry, meaning all fans must purchase a separate finals ticket.
All seating is general admission and the club is urging fans to arrive early to secure their spot, particularly in undercover areas.
Gates will open at 9am.
The club warned that its first home game saw significant queues at the gates and is expecting a similar crowd of around 11,000 this time around.
The Official Devils Cheer Squad will be stationed at the Leticia end of the ground and mascot Rum’un will make several appearances throughout the day.
Fans are encouraged to walk, cycle or use public transport to reach the ground, with limited street parking available in the area.
The Devils will name their team at 12:20pm on Friday.
The match will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and Kayo from 11am.
