Fundraising for a Hobart teenager who suffered a serious spinal injury has surpassed the $70,000 mark since donations started flowing in just 36 hours ago.
16-year-old Hamish Paynter will be flown to the Austin Hospital Spinal Unit in Melbourne to continue his recovery after the tragic beach incident on his final day of grade 10 last Friday.
