A pedestrian has reportedly been hit by a vehicle in Howrah on Hobart’s eastern shore this morning.
Emergency services are at the scene of the incident near the corner of Clarence Street and Shoreline Drive.

“Motorists are asked to avoid the area until the scene is cleared,” police said.
Police said the extent of the pedestrian’s injuries is not yet known.
Updated 9:42am, Thursday: Police say the crash has since been cleared.
“No serious injuries were reported,” police said.
