A 44-year-old man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Devonport on Friday night.
Tasmania Police said emergency services were called to Best Street, near Molly Malones, at around 9:25pm.

The pedestrian was transported to hospital with what police reported to be serious injuries.
The driver was not physically injured and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Police are now appealing for public assistance as they investigate the circumstances of the crash.
“Anyone with witness information or vision of the crash is asked to contact Devonport Police on 131 444 and quote OR802506,” police said.
Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
