A person has been rushed to hospital with burns after a fire broke out in a ground floor unit on Macquarie Street in Hobart early this morning.
The fire was reported at about 2:30 am by a passer-by.
Two other occupants were evacuated, with the cause of the fire yet to be determined.
The beacon was activated around 3pm and a helicopter found the group
Police say nobody got inside the building during the incident

The woman needed stitches and spent a night in hospital
The car had stolen plates and hit three vehicles, including a police car
