Tasmania Police are searching for a 70-year-old woman who went missing from West Hobart on Monday night.
The woman, known as Kathy, was last seen walking on Melville Street around 5:30pm, heading towards Salamanca.
She was wearing dark pants, a red top and a blue/grey knee-length puffer-style jacket.
Police put out a public appeal on Tuesday evening and again on Wednesday morning asking for help tracking her down.
“Police are seeking public information in relation to a woman missing from West Hobart since last night,” a spokesperson said.
“If anyone has seen Kathy or knows where she is, they are asked to contact police on 131 444 and quote ESCAD 354-12052026.”
“If anyone has cameras or CCTV in the area, they are asked to check for any sightings of Kathy since she was last seen.”
