Swimmers at a popular destination on Tasmania’s East Coast have been warned to be on the lookout for a shark lurking close to shore.
Tasmania Police issued the alert on Saturday afternoon after receiving reports of the shark sighting at Boltons Beach in Little Swanport around 30 metres offshore.

“Please be vigilant if you want to enter the water in that area,” police said.
