A search for a man and a woman who are believed to be somewhere in Tasmania with two children has been launched tonight.
Police say they hold concerns for the welfare of 36-year-old Ashleigh McMillan and 48-year-old Benjamin Eyles.
The pair were last seen leaving a Hobart hotel with two children sometime between 9pm on Wednesday and 5pm Thursday.
Police believe they may be travelling in a Green 2003 Toyota Hilux with the registration L09FD, which may be towing a camouflage green 1996 Cavalier camper trailer with the registration WT2815.
It is not known which direction the pair were travelling in, or nature of their relationship with the children.
Anyone who has seen Ashleigh, Benjamin or the vehicle since Wednesday afternoon is asked to contact Tasmania Police on 131 444.
UPDATE 8AM FRIDAY: Police now believe the pair and their two children have travelled interstate, but say officers “would still like to ensure everyone is ok”.
