‘Enough is enough’: Police are cracking down ‘big time’ on crime and anti-social behaviour following several recent scares in parts of Hobart.
Police officers were out in numbers at Northgate, Eastlands and the Elizabeth Street Mall today, as well as surrounding areas including bus malls in Hobart, Glenorchy and Rosny, all in an effort to reduce anti-social behaviour and crime – including shoplifting and drugs.

As part of the crackdown, a young male (pictured left) was detected in possession of a large amount of cash and a number of smoking products (vapes) in the Hobart Mall today, and will be proceeded against under the Youth Justice Act.
