7HOFM is the new number one station in Hobart, with a share of 22.2%, up 1.2% according to the latest Xtra Insights by Commercial Radio Australia.
The previous chart-topper, Hit 100.9, experienced a significant decline, dropping 3.8% to 17.4% and falling from its coveted first-place position.
Meanwhile, ABC Radio Hobart has managed to maintain its strong presence, holding onto the third-place spot with a share of 16.5%.
Triple M, trailing behind both the national broadcaster and their youth-oriented sister station Triple J, secured fifth place with a 10.7% share.

A major contributing factor to Hit 100.9’s slip in ratings is believed to be the departure of the beloved radio duo Jimmy and Nath, who were leading the station’s local breakfast show.
Their replacements, Dan and Christie, have garnered an 18.7% breakfast share, slipping by 4.1% and failing to retain the top spot in the morning slot.

Instead, 7HOFM’s Sarah, Mick, and Johnno have emerged as the new breakfast champions, capturing a 21.1% share and dominating the airwaves.
7HOFM Content Director Allan Cameron told Radio Today he is “incredibly proud of the on-air team who give their absolute best every single day”.
“Sarah, Mick and Johnno becoming Hobart’s #1 way to wake up and dominating workplaces is just outstanding,” he said.
