Brown, who attended the Hobart event, called on the Federal Government to ‘immediately end native logging’ and received said the foundation plans to escalate their campaign in the coming months.

“C’mon Albo! Its time! And you can do it! End native forest logging!” Brown said.

Environmental activist Colette Harmsen, who is currently serving three months in prison for continued mining protests in the states west, also spoke at the rally over the phone.

Speaking from the Mary Hutchinson Women’s Prison at Risdon, she urged Australians to demand action on the issue.
