A 19-year-old ‘reckless’ Hobart p-plater has had his car taken off him after he was caught 64km/h over the speed limit on the Southern Outlet today.
The teen, who was snapped doing 144km/h in an 80km/h zone, has had his car clamped and will appear in court at a later date.

“This is reckless and dangerous behaviour that won’t be tolerated,” said Inspector Jim Semmens.
“This young man is now without a car… Not a smart choice.”
