Tasmania’s North-West coast community has come alive for the annual Wynyard Tulip Festival, with an estimated 20,000 people attending the biggest event on the coast.
The 32nd edition of the popular Tulip Festival filled Gutteridge Gardens in the town centre with live entertainment and activities from 11am to 9pm on Saturday, ending with a spectacular fireworks display.
Thousands flocked to the town for the event, while shuttle buses ran throughout the day to the Table Cape Tulip Farm, which is currently in full bloom.
Meanwhile, the inaugural Spring Fling Wonderland will take place at Haines Waterfront Park in Devonport on Sunday from 10am to 3pm.
The event will feature live music, children’s entertainers and games, free carnival rides for children, horse and carriage rides and a car-boot sale.
