A new $40 million retail precinct has been officially confirmed for Kingston, after Pulse first revealed the plans in May.
The Spring Farm Village, spearheaded by Sydney-based developer Tipalea Partners, is set to cater to the ‘daily needs of the rapidly growing residential populations in the Kingborough region’.
On Thursday afternoon, Tipalea revealed that Coles Supermarket will serve as the flagship store, alongside a range of takeaway food outlets, a medical centre and pharmacy.
Over 1,200 jobs are reported to be created in the construction and ongoing management of the centre, which is set to occupy a 3.7-hectare site on the Channel Highway opposite Bunnings.

The developers, Tipalea Partners, have previously completed the Glebe Hill Village development in Howrah and currently working on the Stony Rise Village in Devonport.
Construction in Kingston is scheduled to commence in early 2024, with an estimated completion date in 2025 – pending council approval.
