Police have launched an investigation into a deliberately lit fire that tore through a house in the Rokeby area overnight.
Emergency services were called to the South Arm Road property around 2:30am on Thursday following a report of a house on fire.

According to police, the building was vacant at the time and no one was injured in the incident.
Investigators from the Tasmania Fire Service spent the morning at the home and have since determined the fire to be deliberately lit.
