A group of more than 15 runners have spent the last four days on an incredible 400km run from Stanley to Hobart.
The run from the top to the bottom of Tasmania was part of the “Archie’s 100” project, aimed at raising funds for children’s hospitals in Tasmania.
The run was led by Damien Green, the father of 7-year-old Archie, who tragically passed away in a boating accident in 2020.
Archie saved five lives by donating his organs, and Damien and his family have been spreading the word about organ donation to honour Archie’s memory and encourage more people to become donors since.

The team had the freedom to run as much or as little as they liked each day, as long as they achieved a total of 100kms collectively.
They ran from 7am to 5pm and made stops in dozens of towns along the route – raising a collective total of more than $15,000 along the way.
