Organisers say around 830 people went through the gates at Quercus Park on Saturday for the sixth Rural Rumble, a volunteer-run celebration of country music and rural life.
The event, run by Hagley Rural Youth, went ahead despite on-and-off showers throughout the day.
Organisers said the weather “held off just enough” for it to go ahead, with a “strong crowd” turning out to support the volunteers.
It featured an afternoon and evening of live music, competitions and other activities.

Local musician Loui Moran opened the entertainment, followed by Riley Ziskey, who travelled to Tasmania to perform after appearing on Australian Idol.
Zac and George took the stage next and the Zac Weeks Band closed the night.

Away from the music, the program included an on-foot barrel race, a ute competition and line dancing.
Hagley Rural Youth said the activities offered “something for everyone throughout the day”.
Rural Rumble is run entirely by volunteers, made up of current and past members of Hagley Rural Youth.
Those volunteers “dedicate their time and effort to bringing the event to life”, the group said.

The group said the crowd showed “a little rain isn’t enough to keep the country community away”.
They said country crowds were “built different when it comes to showing up for a good time”, describing this year’s event as “another fantastic celebration of country music and rural culture”.
