A sawn-off shotgun found hidden under a couch during a search of a Launceston home has been seized by police.
Officers found the loaded weapon during a large-scale operation in Ravenswood on Thursday.
It allegedly uncovered an arsenal of illegal firearms, two stolen motorcycles and a quantity of methylamphetamine.
As well as the shotgun, two other firearms, drugs, a taser, ammunition and stolen property were located.
A 30-year-old Ravenswood man is facing multiple firearms charges, drug-related offences, motor vehicle theft and unlawful possession of property charges as a result.
A 25-year-old woman from the same suburb is also facing multiple firearms charges, motor vehicle theft and unlawful possession of property charges.
Both have been held in custody and will appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Friday.
