A Hobart teenager has racked up close to a dozen charges after he allegedly went on a robbery spree across New Town yesterday.
According to detectives, the 17-year-old committed “a series of theft and robbery” incidents across the Hobart suburb on Thursday morning.
They say he also threatened several other youths at multiple locations and left one in need of medical treatment after striking them in the face with an “implement”.
The teenager was arrested shortly after the incidents and is set to appear in a Youth Justice Court today.
He will face charges including attempted aggravated armed robbery, stealing with force, assaulting a police officer and unlawful possession of property.
