Australian Idol runner-up Shannon Noll will bring his first new album in eight years to Tasmania this weekend, with two shows on the island as part of his national tour.
Noll will perform at Easy Tiger in St Helens on Friday before heading west for a Saturday night show at The Forth Pub.
His album, The Road In Front Of Me, was released on September 25, with the two shows set to feature new tracks including What Ya Made Of, The Future and Beautiful Mess, alongside familiar hits such as What About Me, Lift and Drive.
Noll said he was looking forward to getting back on the road and sharing the new material with audiences.

“I’m really excited to get back out on the road and share these new songs with everyone, alongside the hits we’ve all been singing for years,” Noll said.
“There’s nothing quite like the energy of a live crowd and I can’t wait to bring the show to Easy Tiger.”

Easy Tiger managing director Jason Unwin described Noll as “an absolute crowd favourite”.
“We’re thrilled to welcome him to Easy Tiger for what promises to be a huge night of live music,” he said.
Noll rose to fame as runner-up in the first series of Australian Idol, going from working as a farm hand in Condobolin to launching a recording career.
He has since had seven ARIA top 10 albums, while What About Me was Australia’s highest-selling single in 2004.

The Forth Pub was recently named best live music venue in the state at the Hospitality Tasmania People’s Choice Awards.
Tickets and more information are available through Noll’s website.
