A national shortage of potatoes has forced a popular Tassie pub to DITCH the beloved hot chips from their menu!
The King Island Hotel, known for their Thursday “chicken parmigiana nights”, have now resorted to serving onion rings as an alternative.

According to the hotel, their supplier has doubled the cost of frozen chips as prices have gone up, but they refuse to raise their menu prices to finance the chip purchases.
