The man charged with allegedly murdering Burnie teenager Shyanne-Lee Tatnell more than a year ago will reappear in court next month, having already made several previous appearances.
Christopher Mark Jordan, 37, from Scottsdale entered a plea of not guilty to the charge of murdering 14-year-old Tatnell in April last year.
Tatnell’s remains were found off a bush track near Nabowla months after she was last seen crossing a Launceston bridge, ending what was the largest police search of the state’s north in history.
In a brief appearance via video link to the Launceston Magistrates Court on Tuesday, Jordan’s legal representatives requested an adjournment.
The court granted the request and remanded Jordan in custody until his next appearance on August 13.
