The Tasmania Fire Service have issued a smoke alert for Kingston and surrounding areas, south of Hobart.
A Fuel Reduction Burn at The Lea (off the Southern Outlet) is pushing smoke over the Kingston township.

The TFS say while there is no threat to communities, people with medical conditions are advised to avoid the smoke and appropriately manage their health.
People driving in the smoke are urged to turn on their headlights and drive slowly.
The smoke is expected to disperse overnight.
