A recent spell of warm weather has brought snakes out of brumation across Tasmania, with one Granton resident coming across a copperhead in their backyard.
The sighting on Wednesday afternoon is serving as a reminder for people to be aware of snakes when venturing outdoors, particularly in rocky areas and places with long grass.
