“Speed and inexperience” are believed to be the cause of a motorcycle crash that left a young woman seriously injured.
The 27-year-old provisional licence holder lost control of her motorcycle on Hollow Tree Road near Bothwell around 6pm on Saturday.

Police say she was airlifted to the Royal Hobart Hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances of the long-weekend incident.
They are urging anyone with footage of a white Yamaha motorcycle in the area at the time to come forward.
“Police urge all motorists to obey the road rules and drive and ride to the road conditions at all times when travelling on our roads,” a spokesperson said.
