In just one month, close to TWO THOUSAND speeding Tassie drivers have been fined by new mobile speed cameras.
1822 infringement notices have been issued by Tasmania Police in the month since the new cameras hit the road on the 30th of September.

Fines start from $87 and two demerit points, going right up to $1,041 and six demerit points, depending on how much the speed limit is exceeded by.
Police are urging people who see dangerous driving behaviour to report it immediately on 131 444.
