A stolen motorcycle that police say has links to multiple burglaries across Hobart earlier this month has been found during a search of a home in Hobart’s northern suburbs.
The motorcycle, along with a stolen car, was located and seized during a targeted search of a private residence in Bridgewater on Thursday.
Police suspect the bike to have been involved in burglaries in Bridgewater and Sandy Bay in early January.
A large quantity of tools believed to have been stolen during burglaries over the past week were also found at the home.
A 25-year-old Bridgewater man has been charged with multiple firearms-related offences, burglary, motor vehicle theft and breaches of bail following the search.
He has been detained and is scheduled to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court today.
