Smitten Merino, a family-owned business based in Hobart, has been designing and manufacturing luxury wool products using superfine merino wool sourced from Tasmania’s premier wool growing regions for the past 15 years.
Founder and designer Nicola Mason is excited to bring her timeless Australian designs to New York, and emphasised the importance of keeping the company’s Tasmanian roots by using local sheep wool and supporting local jobs.
Mason’s daughter Holly Bowden added that consumers are drawn to the brand’s commitment to quality and timeless fashion, and that the international recognition of the brand’s locally-made products is impressive.
